Admin must listen to concerns of locals over grazing land in Chatterhama: Kaiser Ganai

Srinagar, March 28 (KNS):  DDC Member Khimber Kaiser Ganai on Tuesday made a plea to the local administration to consider the concerns of the residents of Chatterhama Khimber who have appealed to the government to listen to their version of events before taking control of a significant portion of land that they claim is used for grazing purpose.

According to a statement issued to KNS reads that the issue came into limelight today when a team of revenue officials headed by concerned Tehsildar attempted to demarcate the land in question.

However, the local population protested, arguing that all the land in the vicinity was government-owned and pointed towards strong apprehension of a potential conspiracy involving land mafia groups.

In response to this event, Kaiser called on the administration to carefully consider the perspectives of locals in order to arrive at a fair and just conclusion.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe emphasized the importance of adhering to the law in all decision-making processes and urged for transparency and accountability.

"My primary request is for the people of Chatterhama to be given an opportunity to present their side of the story. Any decision made within the bounds of the law will be thereafter accepted by all parties without any disagreement," Kaiser stated.

He said that it is vital that concerns of the local residents are taken seriously and given due consideration by the authorities.

"By doing so, the government can ensure that a fair and equitable solution is reached that upholds the rule of law and protects the rights of all stakeholders involved," Kaiser observed. (KNS)
