GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 01:(KNS) The Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, on Tuesday convened an introductory cum Review meeting of all officers/officials of Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj.

During the meeting the officers briefed the chair about the performance of their respective Blocks viz-a-viz different schemes including Area Dev. Fund (PRI/BDC/DDC Grants), MGNREGA, UT Capex works, Distt. Capex works, RGSA and PMAY-G being implemented by the Department.

A detailed discussion was held regarding targets and achievements in this regard.

The ACD hailed the role of both the Administrative & Technical wings of the department in achieving a considerable progress w.r.t. all the sectors. He stressed upon both the wings of the Department to work in full coordination so as to excel during these two months of fag end of the year.

He emphasized on working in mission mode to meet targets and work religiously to make a conceptual change in the minds of common people with their work culture.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Executive Engineer REW Ganderbal Iftikhar Ahmad, BDOs of district Ganderbal along with Assistant Engineers, Panchayat inspectors, Programme Officers (MGNREGA) & Junior Engineers of all the Blocks. (KNS)
