AAC mourns demise of its senior leader Mohammad Amin Bhat, pays tribute

 
Srinagar, June 6 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Muhammad Amin Bhat (Baagwaan), a senior leader & founding member of the organisation.

In a condolence meeting organised in this regard, the AAC on behalf of the organisation’s leadership, especially its incarcerated head Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, paid glowing tribute to the long, selfless and courageous services of Muhammad Amin Sahib. With his demise, the organisation and the movement have lost a strong, fearless and sincere worker, the statement said, adding that the loss is impossible to compensate.

The AAC described Muhammad Amin Sahib as an active and understanding political activist and termed his life and struggle as an example for organisational workers.

Late Muhammad Amin Sahib started his political life and career under the patronage of Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulana Muhammad Farooq Sahib and and then remained equally active in taking forward the programmes of the organisation under the present leadership of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq

Awami Action Committee extended its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the deceased’s young son Adil Amin Bhat and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, the funeral prayers of Muhammad Amin Sahib were offered at Jama Masjid srinagar and attended by a large number of people as well as the central officials and workers of Awami Action Committee. His Congregational Fateh Khawani will be held on Friday June 10at 2.30 pm.(KNS)
