AAC expresses condolences

 
Srinagar, Aug 13 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Haji Ghulam Hassan Dar of Moominabad, Islamabad, who was the brother-in-law of a well-known social activist Muhammad Jamal Bachhu. The organisation paid tribute to the deceased for his services and sacrifices.

In a statement to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the AAC on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest for the last three years expressed condolences and solidarity with Muhammad Jamal Bachhu and other bereaved family members.

Meanwhile, the AAC also expressed sorrow and condolence over the demise of the wife of late Abdul Majeed Shah (Punzo), resident of Srinagar while a delegation of the organisation participated in the collective Fateha Khwani of the deceased and paid homage to her.

The delegation also sent a message of condolence and sympathy to the children and other bereaved family members on behalf of the organisation's Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, and offered Fateha prayers in favour of the departed soul.(KNS)
