Budgam August 07:(KNS) Locals of Beerwah Area today staged a protest over the attachment of Doctors and other staff from Sub District Hospital to other diffrent places for Covid-19 Duties. Which results shortage of Doctors and other medical staff in Hospital. The protest was organised by Youth civil society beerwah and trade fedration Beerwah.
Talking To KNS correspondent A local namely Farooq Ahmad said " There are only 3-4 doctors in hospital rest of them are attached to other places to perform covid duties, which results lack of staff and large number of people to suffer as near about 130 villages depend on this SDH.
Another local namely Altaf Ahmad said that " it is unfortunate that the area is being ignored and discriminated."
However the CMO Budgam did't answer the call.
Later on the assurance of Tehsildar Beerwah that he will take this matter with Higher Authorites the protest ended Peacfully.
