Srinagar, Dec 15 (KNS): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Thursday paid tributes to slain Hizb commander, Shams-ul-Haq on his 24th anniversary.
The outfit also paid tributes to the slain militants including Basit Rasool Dar and Abubakar who were killed in two different encounters that raged between forces and militants on Wednesday.
According to an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying, “Shams-ul-Haq who was a great leader lit the candle of freedom struggle by sacrificing his life.”
According to the statement, Hizb chief while addressing a special meeting of Hizb command council and General council said that “Shams-ul-Haq was not only a Hizb leader but had also achieved the status of a teacher.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelEvery single drop of his blood has given birth to thousands of Mujahideens.”
He said that “after his martyrdom, many of his family members chose the way of Shams-ul-Haq and sacrificed their lives as well.”
Meanwhile, Hizb vice chief, Peer Saifullah also spoke during the meeting and said that, “no one will be allowed to make any sell-out of the precious sacrifices of people. The followers of Shams-ul-Haq won’t quit the freedom struggle until the goal (Freedom) will not be achieved.” (KNS)
