Budgam, November 30(KNS): The Awami Itehad Party (AIP) held a significant meeting in Budgam today, attended by Vice President G.N. Shaheen, General Secretary Mr. N.A. Khan, State Secretary Mr. Sheikh Ashiq, Joint Secretary Javed Hubi and District President Javed Junaid. Senior leaders including Dr. Abdullah, Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh, Sajad Ahmed, Engineer Sheikh Jahangeer and others also participated in the discussions.
The leadership deliberated on several pressing issues, charting a course for the party’s future activities and addressing immediate concerns affecting the region.
The party leadership placed strong emphasis on strengthening its grassroots presence by establishing robust block-level committees. These committees will play a pivotal role in mobilizing support and preparing for the upcoming panchayat and municipal elections. Additionally, strategies were discussed to expedite the release of Er. Rashid, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, whose contributions remain vital to the party's mission.

The party also resolved to proactively address public issues with the administration, ensuring that grievances are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. AIP reiterated its commitment to standing firmly by the people and upholding their rights in the face of growing challenges.
Vice President G.N. Shaheen, addressing the gathering, called for unity and collective action. “AIP remains steadfast in its mission to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir with integrity and dedication. We will continue our fight for justice, accountability, and the betterment of society,” he said.
