9 injured in Handwara road mishap

Srinagar, May 24 (KNS) : Nine persons on Tuesday were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road in north Kashmir's Handwara area of Kupwara district. 

 
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS), said that a vehicle bearing registration number JK01D9309 skidded of the road in Goolpora Rajwar when it was moving from Handwara to Sargmarg area, resulting in injuries to at least nine persons. 
 
An official while confirming the incident told KNS that all the injured have been evacuated to a nearby health facility for treatment. 
 
He identified the injured persons as Nusrat daughter of Ghulam Rasool Mir, Afrooza daughter of Bashir Ahmad Mi, Ishrat daughter of Abdul Gani Shiekh, Bilkeesa daughter of Manzoor Ahmed Ganie, Yasmeena daughter of Abdul Ahad Mir, Tabasum daughter of Manzoor Ahmed Hajam, Nighat daughter of Ghulam Hassan Mir, Adil Akbar son of Mohammad Akbar and Shabnum daughter of Gh Mohd Mir - all residents of Sargmarg.(KNS)
