8 CRPF men, 2 civilians injured in Kulgam road accident


Kulgam, Jun 16 (KNS): At least 8 CRPF personnel and 2 civilian were injured when two vehicles turned turtle after collision at Nehama area of Kulgam district on Thursday afternoon.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that CRPF collided with an auto, resulting in injuries to 8 CRPF personnel, auto driver and a girl. 

He identified the injured CRPF personnel as Surinder Singh, K Satya, K Maha, Rakib-Ul-Islam, Rajinder, C Rama Krishna, Mishram Arvind, A Rajni, while civilian was identified as Mohammad Akbar and the girl as Massrat Jan  

All the injured were rushed to sub-district hospital D H Pora for treatment, later they were shifted to district hospital Kulgam for futher treatment, where their condition was said to be stable. 

Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNS)
