607 posts created for 42 Border Police Posts to strengthen anti-infiltration grid in J&K

 
Srinagar, May 11 (KNS):In an effort to enhance border security and deter infiltration attempts, the government has sanctioned the creation of 607 new posts for 42 new Border Police Posts (BPPs) in Jammu and Kashmir.
 
According to a government order, these posts will be allocated to 42 newly established Border Police Posts (BPPs) across J&K. The move aims to enhance border security and deter infiltration attempts, ensuring the safety and stability of the UT

The 607 posts will be distributed across various ranks including Sub Inspector - 39 posts (Pay Level: Level 6-C, 35700-113100), Assistant Sub Inspector - 50 posts (Pay Level: Level 6, 35400-112400), Head Constable - 88 posts (Pay Level: Level 5, 29200-92300),  and SGCT/Constable - 430 posts (Pay Level: Level 2, 19900-63200).(KNS)
