Jammu, Nov 19 (KNS): Four unidentified militants were killed and two SoG men were injured in an early morning encounter between security forces and militants near Ban Toll Plaza of Nagrota Jammu who were travelling in a vehicle.

Officials sources said four militants travelling in a vehicle fired at a naka party at Nagrota on Jammu—Srinagar highway triggering an encounter.

"four militants were killed in the gunfight" the official said, "two SoG men also sustained injuries and one of them with splinter injury in his neck. However both are stable," they said.

Traffic on Jammu—Srinagar highway has been blocked and is likely to be restored soon—(KNS)
