The much awaited Linnunrata Invitational Golf Tournament Season 3 is back and this time will be played at the most stunning & breath-taking golf courses, The Royal Springs Golf Course Srinagar. The tournament is scheduled to be played on 18th June 2022 & will be played on the Stableford format.
This is the running trophy and has already been played at Forest Hill Resorts in Chandigarh, followed by Naldehra Golf Club in Himachal Pradesh. The USP of this fun filled tournament is that every Fourball has one winner apart from the overall winner. The Nearest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive will also be part of the competition list. Overall a lady champion and a junior champion is also part of this tournament.
Talking of the tournament Sarmad Hafeez IAS, Secretary Tourism government of Jammu & Kashmir said that “Such tournaments and events are integral part of the promotion of tourism to the world. They bring the positive impact and are instrumental in showcasing Kashmir as the destination for niche sports.” The running trophy was also revealed during the media briefing in presence of Mr. Bakshi Javid Hamayun, MD & CEO GDMA and Secretary Royal Springs Golf Club, Mr. Nitin Srivastava – Director of Vuenow Group and Mr. Munish Arora – Managing Director of can & able entertainment pvt. Ltd. During the briefing Mr. Javed talking about RSGC said that the Royal Springs Golf Course is easily one of the most stunning & breath-taking golf courses you would play in India with the Zabarwan hills in the background & the Dal lake around the corner. The course is spread over 300 acres of rolling hills, native deciduous forest, lakes, wilderness with the occasional marsh. It isthe only Robert Trent Jones II signature course in India. Mr. Nitin Srivastava, Director of Vuenow, the biggest Edge Data Centre company in India said that associating with this sport has given them wings to connect to the right kind of sphere. The tournament aims at bringing like-minded people together for a day of competition & fun and increase awareness of the emerging high impact digitally powered opportunities for entrepreneurs, organizations and communities.
