Kupwara, Jan 04. (KNS): A devastating fire incident wreaked havoc in Dar Gali near the old bus stand in North Kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday, gutting at least 30 shops.
Eyewitnesses said that the fire started around 4 am in a shopping complex at the beginning of Dar Gali, quickly spreading to engulf neighboring shops. "Despite swift action by fire service tenders, the flames extended to other shopping complexes," he said.
"Fire and emergency vehicles tirelessly worked to bring the situation under control. Ultimately, the fire was subdued, but the aftermath left 30 shops in two complexes reduced to ashes in this catastrophic incident," he added.(KNS).
