Srinagar, Aug 05(KNS): Three soldiers, who were injured in a fierce gunfight with militants in Halan forest area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district, have succumbed to their injuries, Army said here.

The Army's Chinar Corps, took to Twitter to share the details of the operation. "Acting on specific inputs regarding the presence of terrorists on the higher reaches of Halan in Kulgam, Security Forces launched operations on 4th August 2023".

"In the exchange of fire with terrorists, three personnel sustained injuries and later attained martyrdom," the tweet stated.(KNS).
