2 doctors, 3 paramedic personnel among 7 quarantined after lady admitted in SDH Chadoora tested positive

Budgam, 09 May, (KNS): Two doctors and three paramedic staff personnel were among seven persons who were quarantined on Saturday in Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora area of Budgam district after they came in contact with a lady who tested positive recently.
Reports reached to Kashmir News Services said that seven persons including two doctors, three paramedical staff personnel, a technician and a driver have been quarantined in Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora after they came in contact with a lady patient who was treated in the medical facility and tested Covid-19 positive a day ago.
Nodal Officer Dr Mohammad Aslam Yatoo while talking to KNS said that two days ago a lady from the district was admitted in the hospital who was asymptomatic but due to Covid-19 pandemic scare, she was asked to go through investigation after which she was found Covid-19 positive.
“Although the lady was asymptomatic but investigations on Friday late night revealed that she is Covid-19 positive”, Nodal Officer said.
He added soon after she tested positive, authorities utilized all efforts to trace out her contact history so that transmission of the virus is defeated. “We kept two doctors, three paramedical personnel, a technician and a driver into quarantine immediately to stop the spread of virus”, he added.
