Handwara, Feb 13:(KNS) In an endeavour to motivate the students residing of Nowgam in Kupwara District, 174 Bn BSF distributed sports kits and stitching machines among students and deserving persons of the area in a function organized at Army Good will School Nowgam, here today.
Commandant 174 BSF, Vinod Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sarpanch Dr. Nayeem u Rehman Khan, Nazir Ahmad Khan and Nambardar Ghulam Din Tanchy presided over the function.
The sports items and stitching machines presented as a step towards motivating them to take up sports as a career and strengthen the nation.
The local beneficiaries expressed thankfulness and appreciated the kindness of how BSF is meeting the needs of the locals wherever approached.(KNS).
