‘Gupkar gang’ unnerved by BJP’s growing popularity in J&K: Tarun Chug

Srinagar, Dec 05 (KNS): Bhartiya Janata Party national general secretary Tarun Chug Saturday said that time for dynasty rule in J&K is over and the “Gupkar gang” is feeling unnerved over the growing popularity of BJP in Kashmir and Jammu regions.
He said while addressing a presser
at BJP’s Srinagar office. He was flanked by former BJP minister Shahnawaz Hussain, and BJP’s national spokesman and Rajya Sabha MP Syed Zafar Islam.

Chug said he was glad to seek voters coming out in large numbers to vote for candidates from ground zero in DDC polls.

“it indicates time for dynasty politics is over now in J&K. Dynasty leaders, who till yesterday, fought against each other and were arch rivals, are today against BJP," he said.

Lashing out at Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti for their China, Pakistan comments, he asked them to stop talking about China, Pakistan and instead campaign for retrieval of Kashmir under Pakistan.
The BJP national general secretary asked the NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief Mehboboa Mufti to stop talking about China’s intrusion in Leh and Pakistan’s involvement in promoting militancy and separatism. “They should now talk about how Kashmir under the illegal control of Pakistan can be retrieved,” he said.

Taking a dig at Mehbooba Mufti, Chug said that her daughter sits in New Delhi and tweets about “this and that” why should sons of others pick up guns

BJP General Secretry accused NC and PDP of looting of J&K’s resources through dynasty rule.

NC and PDP is feeling unnerved by BJP's growing popularity. BJP is growing in J&K like a storm and reach every village and district,” Chug said according to KNS correspondent.

He said if picture of 1960's of Mumbai, Banglaore and Hyderabad with Srinagar and Jammu is compared, difference is huge and quite obvious. “See how Mumbai emerged as a dream city for everyone who visits it. Bangalore is a technology hub today and Hyderabad is a place, where dreams come true.

"Delhi is a metropolitan city where life moves very fast. The question is why Srinagar and Jammu remained away from the development,” Chug said “Srinagar and Jammu will be taken to new heights. Now democracy has started flourishing in J&K, Srinagar and Jammu should be compared with Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad in 2030 now. Difference will be visible.”

He blamed NC and PDP for promoting corruption and nepotism, “Late Mufti Muhammad Sayed spoke against corruption when he took over but never acted against NC’s big fish,” Chug said.(KNS)
