Srinagar: One more Covid-19 positiv victim of Srinagar died on Wednesday night in SMHS hospital taking the overall death toll to nine.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), one more Covid-19 positive patient who was youngest one so far died in Srinagar's SMHS hospital. As per hospital sources, the deceased was attened his father who was admitted in Super Speciality Hospital Shireen Bagh from last two days.

"The deceased tested positive although he had no travel history", said Nazir Chowdhary, Medical Suprintendent SMHS hospital.

He said the deceased was youngest one among Covid-19 deaths in Jammu and Kashmir.

Chowdhary added the deceased was admitted in the medical facility on May 5, with Pneumonia complications and died on May 6.

Meanwhile Nodal Officer Saleem Khan also confirmed the death. (KNS)
