Kupwara, June 15 (KNS): Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir along with team of officers today inspected Chontipora- Batgund, Nowgam-Laach road which is being macadamized by the BEACON authorities.

The ADC took stock of the pace of work and directed the concerned to ensure that the material used in the macadamisation is of standard quality.

He also stressed for timely completion of the macadamisation works so that people in this far off area could get proper benefits of the road connectivity.

Later, the ADC convened a meeting with executing agencies and PRIs of the area and reviewed the developmental scenario of the area with regards to road communication.
He stressed upon the PRIs to personally monitor all works going on in the area for the better welfare of the local people. (KNS)
