Srinagar, Aug 05 (KNS): People's Democratic Party (PDP) General Secretary on Wednesday said that August 5 is "Black Day" for the people of Jammu Kashmir, Kargil and Ladakh and said that they will never accept the forceful design.

PDP General secretary Ghulam Nabi Hanjura according to Kashmir News Service said that 5th August 2019 is a black day for us, it is Black day for every citizen of Jammu Kashmir, Kargil and Ladakh as we can't forget our special status snatched by GoI while being drunk in power and arrogance, he further said we can never accept the decision of Aug 5 l, and will continue to raise our voice against it.

The PDP has also decided to stage a protest against the abrogation of article of 370 and 35a and the senior PDP leader was also detained by police on Tuesday.

The special status of erstwhile state was abrogated on aug 5 Last year and the state was bifurcated in two Union territories Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.(KNS)
