Srinagar, May 25 (KNS): While appealing the doctors and paramedics to cooperate with police, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said impartial enquiry would be conducted regarding yesterday's Hawal accident.

IGP Kashmir zone Vijay Kumar today said this while taking a review meeting of law and order situation, a spokesperson said.

"In addition to appreciating the good work done by JKP / CAPFs in ensuring all government directions regarding control of COVID 19 are implemented in letter and spirit , he also issued strict directions regarding ensuring that all COVID frontline workers are facilitated properly . At the same also appealed to the Doctors and Paramedics to cooperate with policemen on the ground," a spokesperson said.

The IGP took strong notice of complaint appearing in some media circles about police personnel while discharging their duties on the road , he added, "He instructed senior officer to submit a factual report regarding the same," spokesperson added.

"It was also reiterated that
Doctors, Paramedics and Police are jointly combating Covid-19 and whatever incident has taken place, we shall look into this, conduct impartial enquiry and take due action. " Spokesperson said in a statement.

He also said that all frontline workers shall ensure that persons with vested interests shall not be allowed to misuse any situation to vitiate the atmosphere and hamper the important work being done by all COVID warriors together (KNS).
