Was special status taken away to gift the land to China: Iltija Mufti


Srinagar, June 20 (KNS): Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti, has asked the Government of India whether the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was taken away so that the land here could be given as a gift to China.

Iltija Mufti is operating the Twitter account of her mother Mehbooba Mufti tweeted "Will Chinese have to apply for domicile rights in J&K or do they get it by default since GOI’s no intrusion into Galwan valley stand has redrawn LaC? Our apprehensions about demographic changes has another dimension to it now," she wrote.
According to KNS correspondent , In her another tweet, she wrote, " Illegal abrogation of Article 370 was done to take over land & disempower locals. Today China has grabbed Galwan valley & GOI isnt even acknowledging it. Was J&K dismembered to gift territory to China?"

Twenty Indian Army soldiers were killed in Galwan valley after a fierce fight between the soldiers of India and China duirng last Monday night under the temperature of less than zero degree. 43 Chinese soldiers also died and many were injured during the clash.(KNS)
