Karnah March 21:(KNS)  In continuation towards wholistic growth and engagement of youth, promote sports culture & harness local talent, Indian Army alongwith Tangdhar Sports club  is organizing Karnah Volleyball Championship at Sulaiman Mohalla in Tangdhar from 21 Mar - 30 Mar 21.

On 21 Mar 21, the championship began with an exhibition match between  team from Bhatpura village and Indian Army persons, it was inaugurated by Mr Mohamad Rafeeq,Sarpanch of Tangdhar A. A total of 12 teams from various villages and clubs of Tangdhar are participating in the championship over a duration of 10 days.

The teams from local villages are very enthusiastically in participating in the championship. On interaction with sarpanch and local players, all are of opinion  that such sports event should be organized regularly for the local youth to keep them away from drug menace in addition encourage local talent & highlight importance of  physical fitness in daily life.(KNS)
