Jammu September 13: (KNS) In view of the upcoming Term End Examination of UG semester VI and PG semester IV for the first phase commencing from 14 th September 2020, Prof. Manoj Dhar Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor, CLUJ inspected the Examination Centres of the Constituent Colleges and Schools of Cluster University of Jammu and directed the Incharge Examinations of all Centres to ensure preventive measures as enlisted by the MHRD and Ministry of Health. All the Deans and Principals of their respective institutions apprised the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor that strict compliance of sanitation and fumigation procedures, the availability of masks, sanitizers, gloves, 6 feet physical distancing have already been ensured. Only 40% of students have been accommodated in one centre as per the guidelines by MHRD to ensure the safety of the candidates. All the entrances have mandatory hand hygiene and thermal screening provisions. Entry and Exit gates shall be strictly monitored to avoid overcrowding both at the commencement and conclusion of the examination.
On completion of examination, candidates shall be permitted to move out in an orderly manner. Students have been asked to carry their Admit cards, ID cards, face masks, water bottles, hand sanitizers and stationery as sharing of personal belongings shall not be allowed. Students who are unable to appear in the first phase of the examination due to unavoidable circumstances have been given an option to appear in the second phase which shall be held in the online / offline mode as already notified on the University website.
The Office of Dean Students Welfare has issued SOPs of Generic Preventive Measures about Covid 19 to all the Constituent Colleges and Schools for a wide display in their institutions, both inside and outside the Examination halls and a strict implementation of the same.
