Srinagar Jan 6 :(KNS) Chairman RTI Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat has appealed authorities to undertake snow clearance on internal village roads under MG NREGA.

He said that this will make sure all lanes and bylanes in far flung areas will get cleared of snow plus this will ensure employment guarantee to people at a time when there is no work to do.

"RTI Movement has been demanding to undertake Snow clearance work under MG NREGA for last many years but Govt isn't taking this seriously. Employnent guarantee is the essence of MG NREGA but this doesn't gets fulfilled in winter months in Kashmir
