Langate, Oct 20 (KNS): Government’s unique initiative ‘My Town My Pride’ today ended here at Langate with Commissioner, Survey and Land Records (SLR), Shahnawaz Bukhari, visiting Langate to assess public issues and concerns besides taking stock of development scenario of the town.

Commissioner, Visiting Officer for Municipal Committee Langate, convened a joint meeting of officers, councillors and senior citizens at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Langate and discussed the development issues of the town. He said the main aim of this programme is to reach out to urban population to redress their grievances. He took feedback from the Councillors and asked concerned officers to redress the grievances of the people in a time bound manner.

President, Municipal Committee, Langate, Oruje-e-Mohi-u-Din briefed the Commissioner about development profile of the town besides projecting some important issues concerning growth and development of the area.

Commissioner also met various delegations who projected their demands and problems regarding their development requirements.
Commissioner heard them patiently and assured them that their demands will be fulfilled in a time bound manner.       

Commissioner also distributed domicile Certificates, baby kits and other revenue papers under various individual beneficiary Oriented Schemes.

Later, Commissioner witnessed sports activities and interacted with the players.
Meanwhile locals of Langate and Adjoining areas has expresses concern over illegal dragging of Nallah said due to continuous dragging the water has reduced due which they are facing acute water crisi they have appealed authorities to stop this illegal menace.

Meanwhile, GHSS Langte students performed nice role to make the program successful some sports events were organised by the students like badminton tug of war and a nice siket was presented by students chief gust of the program appreciated the role of GHSS SLangate.

At the end of the program appreciation certificates were distributed among the students (KNS)
