Srinagar, August 17 (KNS): Two paramilitary CRPF men and a policeman were killed after militants attacked the joint naka party at Tindim village of Kreeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said Monday.

Reports said suspected militants opened fire at the joint naka party of CRPF and J&K Police at Kreeri area.

Confirming that incident, A senior police official told KNS that “one SPO of JKP, two CRPF have been killed.”

Sources told KNS that two CRPF men died at a hospital while they were undergoing treatment.

This is the second attack on the security forces in the valley in just four days. On August 14, militants attacked security forces on the outskirts of Srinagar, killing two policemen and injuring one.(KNS)
