Treat PRCs as domicile certificates: Vakil to Govt

Clear ambiguity over job announcements

Clear ambiguity over job announcements

Srinagar, June 05 (KNS): Former minister and senior vice president Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference Abdul Gani Vakil today asked the government to come clear about its recent announcement of 10000 jobs in J&K.

In a press statement issued to KNS , Vakil asked the Lt Governor led administration to speed up the process of recruitment and clear the ambiguity on it as nothing has been done so far in this direction after the announcement. Unemployed youth is eagerly waiting for the recruitment process.

“Only recruitments announcements are made and nothing happens on the ground. The previous Governor of J&K Satya Pal Malik also made huge announcement but at the end that were all fake promises, youth is still waiting his announcement of 50000 jobs Vakil added.

Vakil stressed that the people who have PRCs issued by the authorities of the erstwhile state governments of J&K should be regarded as Domicile Certificates and the government must consider it on priority basis and should not put the people in trouble who are already facing hardships due to Covid-19 lockdown Vakil added.

“Why do you want everyone to apply for the new domicile certificates when all the youth of J&K in the age group of above 18 years possess PRCs Vakil asked Those who don’t have should be asked to apply under the new norms. But those who already have should not be asked to apply for the new domiciles,” Vakil said.

“The candidates who possess the PRCs should be asked to apply for the new Domicile certificate when we are all surrounded by a pandemic,” Vakil added. (KNS)
