Transfer of Patwari’s, Sr, Jr. Assistants from Tehsil office Langate leads inconvenience to locals, appeals DC Kupwara to intervene

Langate, Nov 20 (KNS): Locals of Langate area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday said that the affairs related to people by and large in the constituency have been badly affected in after authorities transferred several pathwari’s, senior and junior assistants. They appealed higher ups to intervene and cancel the transfer order issued earlier.
A delegation told KNS that district administration recently transferred several employees from Tehsil office, resulting huge inconvenience to general public who often visit offices for redressal of their issues.
They said since transfer order by authorities has been issued, the said posts in Tehsil office are lying vacant. They said the local population is unable to understand why authorities transferred patwari’s, senior and junior assistance from their existing place of postings and there added multiple hardships to locals.
Delegation added that despite they approached higher ups multiple times to get the staff back nothing was done so far.
An official from Tehsil office Langate told KNS that the concern Tehsildar has also communicated to higher ups in this regard.
Meanwhile locals appealed Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara Anshul Garg to intervene in the matter and ensure the transferred staff back to their existing place of postings in order to end the miseries of common people. (KNS)
