Says Ashraf Molvi was longest surviving ‘terrorist’ of HM outfit

Srinagar, May 06 (KNS): Inspector general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar has said that a top commander of HM terrorist organisation was killed along with two other terrorists during an encounter in forest area of Pahalgam on Friday.
 
Kashmir zone police, while quoting IGP on its official Twitter handle informed that Ashraf Molvi, one of oldest surviving terrorist of HM terror outfit, along with two other terrorists was killed in Pahalgam.
 
IGP said that this was a successful operation on yatra route and termed it as major success for security forces.
 
Earlier, encounter broke out in Srichan Top, a forest area in Pahalgam, following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
 
Police informed that in the ensuing encounter three terrorists, belonging to HM outfit were killed.
 
It added that incriminating material including arms and ammunition were also recovered from the site of encounter. (KNS)
