Timely intervention of Doctors saves two precious lives at SDH pattan.

Baramulla September 01:(KNS) It was on 28th August 2020 a pregnant lady namely Marifata R/o Naidkhai Sonawari Brought to SDH pattan with obstructed labour who had been mishandled by Quacks by which she had developed uterine rupture with acute fetal distress.
In a Very critical condition two Doctors on duty Namely Dr Saika zahoor (gynecologist) and Dr Hilal Ahmad (Aneasthetist) took a brave decision and decided to operate upon the patient the doctors perform the ceserean section and delivered the baby with apgar score 2 but by resuscitation the apgar score reached to 10 . And baby was then referred to NICU Baramulla from where baby was discharged two days later in healthy condition.
The ruptured Uterus of lady was properly repaired and preserved.
It is pertinent to mention here that since April 2020 to 31 August The SDH pattan has performed 595 LSCS and 266 Normal deliveries.
The attendents hailed the timely efforts and efficiency of on duty doctors for saving two precious lives and thanked Block medical officer Pattan, Chief Medical officer Baramulla and Director Health services kashmir for providing such facilities and efficient staff at Sub district Hospital Pattan.(KNS)
