Time to fight for security, safety of future generations than to speak on 1984 events : ANC


Srinagar, Dec 6 (KNS): Awami National Conference today said that this is the time to "fight for safety & security of the fundamental & Constitutional rights of our future generations than to harp upon the happenings of 1984".
The BJP backed Apni party president was a nobody at that time in the polity of kashmir & to rake up such issues at a critical time when we all are fighting a united battle against the onslaught of the divisive & communal BJP/RSS are not called for, ANC spokesperson Iftikhar Bandey said this in a press release
"This statement is in reference to while commenting on the NC spokesperson press release of yesterday on the proponents of BJP & RSS agenda standing exposed in J&K with a reference to Altaf Bukhari’s role at the time of Dr Farooq Abdullah Govt dismissal."
In a statement issued to KNS,the ANC spokesperson further stated that touching upon one of the most unfortunate events in the contemporary history of Kashmir leading to the vertical split of the the "National Conference is not called for, more so at this critical juncture of our history when we all stand united under Dr Sahib’s leadership fighting a battle against the naked aggression & onslaught of the Narinder Modi led govt & the RSS to cover up the illegal, unconstitutional, illogical & undemocratic act of 5 th August 2019 on the people of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh."
"It is hoped that we will refrain from any such use of words that could be exploited by our common enemies hell bent upon to penetrate the unity forged amongst diametrically opposite political groups for the sake of restoration of 370 & 35A for which the ANC has played its vital role even much before the events leading to the action of 5 th August 2019, the spokesperson said.
The people of Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh want this unity to survive at all costs & it is for us to ensure that no harm is caused to the spirit of this unity, it reads (KNS).
