Srinagar, Dec 9 (KNS): IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar today said three militants were killed in a gunfight with security forces in Tiken Village of Pulwama.

Taking to KNS, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said," All three local militants of Al-Badr outfit were killed in Tiken Pulwama encounter."
Earlier KNS had reported that a joint team of Police, army’s 55 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area in the wee hours of Wednesday.

He added militants fired on the joint team of forces when they approached towards the suspected spot, which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
