Srinagar, June 19 (KNS): Tehsildar Qalamabad on Friday visited the road passing through Haril to Mankal over a complain that sub-standard material is being used by contractors for the construction of road under scheme PMGSY.
The Tesildar Qalamabad said, I have received a complaint that sub-standard material is being used in the construction of road, passing through Haril to Mankal. In the meantime I with my team visited the spot to take the inspection of the work. He further said that I expressed my dissatisfaction over the sub-standard material which was found during the inspection. We also asked the contractor to maintain the quality of the material. We have warned him that in future, a strict action will be taken against him. There has been continues inspection of all the developments works that are taking place in block Qalamabad, he said. (KNS)
