Tata sumo met with an accident in north Kashmir's Uri, three people injured 

Uri, May 16 (KNS): A Tata Sumo rolled down after it was skipped from a road in Bandi area of subdivision Uri in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday night around 11 P.m.

Official sources while confirming the incident to KNS said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05H 2387 plying towards Uri was met with the accident, resulting in the Sumo along with passengers rolled down.

Two passengers including the driver of the vehicle have received injuries in this accident but not in serious in nature, said police. They were shifted to Subdivision Hospital Uri with immediate effects for further treatment.

However, the injured passengers claimed that there were three passengers travelling in the vehicle.

Officials said as soon as we received information that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05H-2387 had rolled down from Srinagar Muzaffarabad National highway at rescue operation was launched to shift injured passengers of the vehicle we did not trace the third person from the accident site, they said.

A case in this regard has been registered at police station Uri and further investigation has been initiated with the immediate effects. (KNS)
