Srinagar, Feb 25 (KNS): Senior CPIM leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami today welcomed the ceasefire agreement between the India and Pakistan.

Speaking to KNS, Taragami said observance of ceasefire agreements is welcome step by India and Pakistan. 

"We hope that it will open up durable channels of communication between the leadership of both the countries. In near future a credible process of dialogue will be initiated for long term peace in the Jammu and Kashmir," he said.

Earlier the other mainstream parties including, National Conference, People's Democratic Party, and All parties Hurriyat Conference also welcomed the ceasefire agreement.(KNS)
