Tangmarg ,June 24 (KNS): The low lying live wires over trees and ordinary poles are posing a serious threat to the inhabitants of Reshipora village of Tangmarg subdivision in north Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
The locals have expressed strong resentment against PDD as the low lying wire may cause a serious damage to the property.
The locals alleged that the number of attempts has been made to draw the attention of PDD to replace the wooden poles but no one is paying attention to our cries a local said.
The local population appealed to the top officials of the power department to intervene in this regard. So that no accident occurs in the area.
AEE PDD Tangmarg, Mehraj Ahmad told to KNS said that due to pandemic covid, it has become difficult for us to move out, however we will look into to it and the old poles will be replaced with new ones, the official said. (KNS)
