Srinagar, June 29(KNS): Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani has decided to quit the Hurriyat Conference he had founded and was the chairman of Amlagam.
The statement issued to KNS reads, " The chairman Hurriyat conference Syed Ali Shah Geelani has decided to completely quit the amalgam," statement in pocession of KNS reads.
He has written a detailed letter to members of the organisation regarding the decesion.
"After considering the present circumstances, I announce to quit the Hurriyat forum," he has written to Hurriyat member. (KNS)
