Srinagar, 2 October (KNS) : Swachhta Bharat mission pledge was organised by agriculture department Budgam at District Agriculture office. The meeting was attended by chief agriculture officer (CAO) Mohd Shafi, District Agriculture officer extension Syed Gul Ajaz, District Agriculture officer inputs Dr Anjum Rashid and many officers/ officials.
During meeting all steps of cleaness were discussed and directions has been passed that whole premises should be cleaned on dially basis before 10Am every day. The employee's pledged that they will remain committed towards cleanness and devote time for this activity at least 100 hours per year.
The 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' is a massive mass movement that seeks to create a clean India. Cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi's heart. A clean India is the best tribute we can pay to Bapu on his 151th birth anniversary.(KNS)
