Kulgam, June 04 (KNS) Militants on Thursday afternoon attacked a police party in Kanjikulla area of Yaripora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district in which a civilian sustained serious bullet injuries, officials said.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said that the militants fired upon the vehicle of police in Kanjkulla area which was repulsed by forces on time, however, a civilian sustained injuries.
“The injured civilian was shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment,” he said.
The civilian has been identified as Imitiyaz Ahmed who is working in health department
Meanwhile, police and army have cordoned off the area and started searches in the area to nab the attackers. (KNS)
