Srinagar,September 11:(KNS) SSP Srinagar Dr. M. Haseeb Mughal-JKPS today inaugurated Public Facilitation Centre (For all Police Verifications) in DPO Complex Shergarhi Srinagar in presence of SP Headquarters, SP PC, DySP Headquarters and other officers of the district.

The concept of having a Public Facilitation Centre at DPO Srinagar is an initiative of SSP Srinagar having COVID-19 Lockdowm as a humble trigger for the initiative. As during COVID-19 restrictions it was almost impossible for some elderly applicants to enquire about the status of their various types of verifications as various public offices were made out of bound for general public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea took shape into a full-fledged Public Facilitation Centre just a few steps after entering DPO Srinagar and the centre has been given a public friendly interface.
On the occasion SSP Srinagar briefed the staff of Public Facilitation Centre to work with zeal and zest in order to facilitate general public in addressing all types of queries regarding verification i.e. Service, Passport, Hajj, Character, Contract, Army verifications etc. The aim of the facility is to move further towards public by lessening their burden of knocking many doors and providing them all related services under single roof in time bound manners.(KNS)
