Anantnag December 28:(KNS) An interaction programme was held at DPO Anantnag in which newly elected DDC members were felicitated by district police. All 14 DDC members of Anantnag district took the oath of office today.
SSP Anantnag Sandeep Chaudhary assured all the DDC Members that full cooperation will be extended to them for performing their duties. He further added that the government is committed towards ensuring peace and security for the people of district. DDCs will prove to be a great pillar of governance and stakeholder partnership in development of the district.
The security concerns of the DDC members were addressed and SSP gave the assurance for further improvements as per the ground situation and feedback from the DDC members. SP Ops Anantnag and SDPO Anantnag were also present on this occasion.(KNS)
