Srinagar, May 27( KNS): Member Parliament (MP) Fayaz Ahmed Mir today demanded shifting of Covid19 treatment facility from Kupwara district hospital and designate some other place in Kupwara as Covid19 hospital.
He said it has hit non-covid healthcare in the district.
" Non-covid patients fear to visit the hospital. Even those who visit the hospital beome victim of fear psychosis among due to the covid 19 patients in the hospital. They are appherensive that they might get infected with CoVID-19 disease," MP Mir told KNS.
" Now patients of far flung area of Kupwara area visit Sopore and Handwara hospitals. It is taking toll on their health and finance in the these when public transport is off the roads," he added.
He appealed distrct adminstration to designate some other building as Covid19 center so that people can avail non-covid treatment.
