Shia Dev Foundation meets LG Sinha, demands redressal of issues pertaining to the community

Srinagar, Oct 22 (KNS): A delegation of Shia Development Foundation (SDF) Thursday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and submitted a charter of demands. Delegation apprised Sinha about different issued problems being faced the community in several areas.
A statement issued to KNS said that LG at the occasion gave patient hearing and showed keen interest about the development works in mentioned areas and assured members of the delegation that their demands will be soon fulfilled.
The charter of the demands, according to spokesman included Shia Waqf Board, construction of four-way road from Bemina to Budgam district headquarter, proper & systematic rehabilitation of Dal dwellers, maternity hospital at Magam, drinking water scheme for Sonawari areas, resuming of work of MA Central University Patwave, package for poor artisans and others.
LG Sinha patiently heard and assured immediate redressal of grievances and particularly the demand of Waqf Board to which he assured that the said issue will be addressed on priority basis, spokesman said.
He added that LG Sinha affirmed that his led administration is keen to address developmental issues on priority basis. (KNS)
