Handwara, Aug 21 (KNS): Residents of Various villages of Langate in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday expresses strong anger against the authorities for failing to macadamize the shanoo – Haril road which is giving though times to passengers to reach their destinations.
According to Kashmir News Service the road has not been macadamized since couple of years and the results the locals of the area is suffering.
Abdul Gaffar a resident of Haril told KNS that the vehicle owners deny to run over the dilapidated road and are saying their vehicles are getting damaged due to bad road connectivity.
He further said that the students and patients of the area are facing difficulties to reach schools and hospitals in time.
Another resident of the area told they have informed the concern officials several times but their plea fell deaf ear by the authorities.
The residents have appealed the deputy commissioner Kupwara to direct the concern department to macadamize the road at the earliest so that the people of the area will not face the problems ahead (KNS)
