Sense of fear has come down, sense of participation in democratic process has increased: DGP Dilbagh Singh

Srinagar, Dec 26 (KNS): DGP J&K Police Dilbagh Singh today said that sense of fear has come down in people while sense of participation in democratic process has increased.
"Peace is further getting stablised and we had never seen this kind of enthusiasm in voters in many years.sense of fear has come down, sense of participation in democractic Party has increased among candidates and voters,"he said while taking to reporters in SKICC here.
Regarding the Shopian encounter, he said, " We started operation in Kanangam on a specific operation yesterday and duirng the course of action two of our jawans were hit and both of them were evacuated to hospital last night. Operation continued throughout the night and late morning both the militants who were hold up and were firing at the police party had been neutralized.They belong to albadar Militant outfit," he said according to KNS correspondent.
Replying to a question, he said, " I was part of this function and had to get the details from the field. May be target house got damaged and sometimes the nearby houses also get damaged.Operation is still on and it will take sometime for troops to withdraw from the site," he said .
