“Will Take Up The Matter With Concerned”: DC Baramulla


Srinagar, July 05 (KNS): Several travelers of north Kashmir on Sunday complained that security Naka established on Kupwara Srinagar road near Wadoora Camp takes tough time to patients and elderly persons and appealed authorities to remove it for public convenience.
Talking to news gathering agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), several travelers narrated that while to and fro, patients and elderly person facing hardships while crossing security check up established at Wadoora Camp located on Kupwara Srinagar road. They said during frisking, not minutes but sometimes it wastes hours due to flood of vehicles.
“Due to extensive frisking, sometimes patients could not reach on time to medical facility which poses risk to their health”, travelers told, and appealed authorities to intervene into this public importance issue and resolve this inconvenience.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla G N Ittoo while talking to KNS assured the issue will be taken up with concerned police and military officials.
“I assure you that issue will be taken up with Police and Army officials for resolution”, DC said. (KNS)
