Party leaders impressed upon visiting DDCs to live up to expectations of people, work for inclusive development of respective areas

Srinagar, 24 December (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, felicitated successful DDC candidates here at their Srinagar residence.

In a statement issued to news agency -kashmir news service(KNS), Party’s District President Anantnag and Former MLA Pahalgam Altaf Kaloo led delegation comprising Nisar Ahmed Mir DDC Dachnipura, Mohd Yusuf Gojri DDC Pahalgam, and Misra Bano DDC Khowri Pura called on Party leadership. Later they met the General Secretary and Provincial President here at Party HeadQuarters, where the party functionaries felicitated them. Among others Party Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Provincial Secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir were also present. The party functionaries passed on good wishes to the successful candidates and hoped that they would live up to the expectations of the people by addressing their issues.


Meanwhile Party Leader Advocate Shabir Ahmed Kullay led Muhammad Maqbool Chopan DDC Harmain I to the residence of Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President Omar Abdullah earlier today. The visiting successful DDC candidate was felicitated by the Party Vice President on the occasion. While passing good wishes to the visiting DDC member, he hoped that the successful candidates would rise up to the expectations of people who have elected him by ensuring all round development of his DDC segment. Later Kullay led Chopan to Party Head Quarters Nawa e Subha, where he was felicitated by Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Provincial Secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir and other functionaries. The functionaries passed on good wishes to Chopan and hoped that he would work for the development of his area (KNS).
