Srinagar, Apr 14 (KNS): Residents of Wadipora of north Kashmir’s Handwara on Tuesday rued over the inaction of administration against some miscreants elements who made locality a dumping site.
Residents told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Wadipora area has been turned into dumping site by some miscreants who are putting heaps of garbage on the roadside of the locality.
They said the locals communicated the matter to higher ups several times but no action has been taken so far.
“Our pleas have been ignored by Handwara administration who failed to take notice of the matter and action against the involved persons”, a local resident said.
Residents appealed authorities to take strict action against the violators and ensure the residential area free from pollution. (KNS)
