Renzu shah demands immediate revocation of Kashmiris stranded at Kyrgyzstan


Srinagar 21 May (KNS): Chairman Kashmir society international and chairman Jamiat ul Ahali Aitqaad, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah on Thursday said that he was approached by thousands of Kashmiri held up in Kyrgyzstan post COVID crises. Around 400 Kashmiri are studying MBBS and various professional courses. They desire to come back to Kashmir.
In a statement to KNS shah said, For this purpose it becomes necessary that special Air India flights should lift them from Kyrgyzstan to Delhi Airport from where they can easily now come through domestic flights being started from 25th May. We are grateful for Ministry of External Affairs for taking full care for all citizens who are stranded abroad. According we appeal Ministry of External Affairs to immediately arrange evacuation of Kashmiri from Kyrgyzstan who are keen to return to their homes in Kashmir. All of them are in constant touch with Kashmir society international, Jamiat ul Ahali Aitqaad. Their families in Kashmir are also in extreme desperate as no steps have yet been taken for their safe return.(KNS)
